The highlight will be a model train layout, with tooting engines and clattering cabooses. New this year will be a trolley. With familiar buildings and landmarks, the railroad scene evokes Yardley’s past.  

Standing tall will be a fir tree festooned with ornaments in the spirit of a Lake Afton winter – skaters, mittens, geese, skates, snowflakes, and icicles. Wreaths will bedeck the windows and chandeliers. 

Packaged cutout sugar cookies to take home will be offered to all, and “Yardley” gifts – tea towels, books, notepaper, and ornaments will be available for purchase.
