Holiday Open House II

Trains, Tree, Gifts!
Saturday, December 9 • 1-4 p.m.
Old Library by Lake Afton
46 West Afton Avenue, Yardley
The Old Library is always at its best during the holidays. The highlight will be the ever-larger model train layout with its tooting engines, clattering cabooses, and a trolley. With familiar buildings, landmarks and billboards, the railroad scene evokes Yardley’s past and present.
Standing tall will be a fir tree decorated with handmade ornaments that are reminiscent of a winter day on Lake Afton – skaters, mittens, snowflakes, geese, fish and turtles.
Old-fashioned cutout sugar cookies and hot cider will be offered, and “Yardley” gifts, including the new flour sack tea towels and book diaries, ceramic ornaments, and papergoods of all sorts can be purchased.
Make merry at the prettiest building in Yardley.
