Holiday Open House II
Trains, Tree, Gifts!
Saturday, December 14 • 1-4 p.m.
Old Library by Lake Afton
46 West Afton Avenue, Yardley
Decked out in fir and holly, the Old Library is always at its best during the holidays.
The highlight will be the ever-larger model train layout with its tooting engines, clattering cabooses, and a trolley. With familiar buildings, landmarks and billboards, the railroad scene evokes Yardley’s past and present.
Standing tall will be a fir tree decorated with old German glass ornaments and real candles.
Homemade cutout sugar cookies and warm cider will be offered to all.
New “Yardley” gifts – “Yardley’s Dream” scented candles, “The Key to Yardley” ornaments, and antique silver-finish metal Old Library ornaments – can be purchased as gifts or just for you. Also available will be flour sack and embroidered tea towels, book diaries, cards, notepaper, prints, and books.
Make merry at the prettiest building in Yardley.
