Mothers of Invention
Carol Simon Levin Portrays Lillian Moller Gilbreth
Sunday, November 14 • 2 p.m.
Old Library by Lake Afton
46 West Afton Avenue, Yardley
Carol Simon Levin will portray Lillian Gilbreth, who was the mother of 12, a psychologist, engineer, and motion study pioneer. The stories of similarly overlooked women innovators – mothers of invention whose accomplishments were all too often ignored, discounted or credited to others – will be shared.
A professional storyteller and independent historian, Carol Simon Levin specializes in telling the stories of “fascinating women history forgot” through first person portrayals. Levin last appeared in Yardley as Emily Warren Roebling, the “bridge builder in petticoats.”
